Rhinoplasty Surgery
Rhinoplasty is one of the oldest plastic surgeries and it is done to:
- Improve the external appearance of the nose or manipulate the nose bone itself
- Remove part of the cartilage from the nose and repair any deformity in the nose that is either congenital or due to fractures
- Correct the nasal septum as it corrects the deviation of the nasal septum and dilates the air passage for better breathing
These surgeries can be done all at once, and the duration of each is two hours.
Anesthesia:
Rhinoplasty happens under general anesthesia through inside nose incisions. Sometimes minor operations can be done under local anesthesia with some sedation.
