Overview
Medical services rendered in the Orthopedic Department are composed of two main types: first, 24/7 services for emergency cases like road accidents and trauma patients in the Emergency Department; and second, outpatient services. These services are supported by diagnostic intervention from the Laboratory and the Radiology Departments.
Conservative treatment and surgery are performed as soon as possible once the diagnosis is made, in order to get the most satisfactory results, whereas ordinary cases are seen in the Outpatient Clinics, which are supported by the latest diagnostic means available in the hospital, like laboratory services that include biological investigations, tumor markers, histopathology and BMD. Surgical procedures and treatments of different fractures are available using the latest devices and equipment in the operating room, all of which are consistent with universal standards.
