Body Frame Size

Body frame size is determined by a person's wrist circumference in relation to their height. For example, a man whose height is over 165 cm​ and wrist circumference is 15 cm would fall into the small-boned category.

It's important to know your body frame size, as it helps you to determine your ideal weight and Body Mass Index (BMI). For example, if you have a small body frame size, your ideal weight would be towards the lower end of the appropriate BMI range for your height, as shown in our BMI calculator.
